はちみつ実験
全て日本蜜蜂のはちみつですが、採った時の見た目は色の違いだけでしたが、時間経過と共にそれぞれ全く違う表情に変化しています。
タイトルに"実験"なんぞ大げさに書いてしまいましたが、
実際のところ
- 採蜜した日の時間と天気と気温
- 巣箱の設置場所
- どの位の期間住んでる群から採ったのか？
- 糖度と水分量
を
記入して、経過観察をしつつ、たまにつまみ食いをする程度なので、実験とは程遠いかもしれません。
しかも5年間もの歳月をかけ、50検体ほど観察をしているにもかかわらず、残念ながらこれと言った大発見はほぼありません、、、
が、もうすぐ完成するであろう"発酵はちみつ"をつくる工程には大いに役立ってる♫
そう思うと、「無駄ではない」と自分に言い聞かせています笑
はちみつは、もともと蜜蜂の巣の中にあったもので、それを蜜蜂が花から集めてきたものでできています。
そして、その花はどういう場所に、どんなふうにあったのか？
「蜜蜂や蜜源と言った自然」に依存した部分。
そのはちみつを、いつ、どのような方法で採り、どんな行程を通り瓶に封入されたか？
「取る時期や採り方、瓶詰め」の工程といった僕に依存した部分。
できたものからではなくて、どうできたのか。
その”こだわり”をはちみつと一緒にビンに詰めています。
